Jeanne Savel

Veterans Advocacy

For more than 15 years, Jeanne Savel dedicated her volunteer service to advancing brain tumor research in memory of her sister Terri, helping raise more than $400,000 through local leadership with the American Brain Tumor Association.

When that work reached a natural transition, she turned her focus to another unmet need—supporting service members returning to civilian life. Recognizing how difficult it could be to navigate the many available resources, Jeanne created the STL Veteran Support Network to connect veterans, active-duty service members, and their families with trusted organizations, employment opportunities, and community support. Through sustained volunteer leadership across multiple military organizations, she has built a reliable network of care that continues to guide and strengthen those who have served and their families.
