Jennifer Hope

Youth Healing & Welfare

Jennifer Hope is a retired school administrator with a passion for helping vulnerable youth struggling with traditional settings in foster homes and schools. Out of that passion came the Hope Ranch of Missouri. Hope Ranch is a residential facility and alternative therapeutic school, founded on the Five Pillars of Care: Family-Style Homes utilizing the Teaching Family Model; Counseling; Individualized Education; Volunteering; and Faith.

In 2014, Jennifer led an incredible group of local professionals to establish Hope Ranch. After being generously gifted 200 acres in Sullivan, Missouri, this group spearheaded a campaign that raised $5.5 million for the construction of the Ranch.

In July 2022, Hope Ranch welcomed their first teenager and have since served more than 35 youth in their residential program. The therapeutic school has served more than 40 students who have completed 65 courses toward graduation.

Jennifer has worked as the volunteer executive director and educational program director since 2021, but in August of 2023, she stepped back into the classroom as a volunteer teacher and is again working alongside the youth she so passionately believes in. She is proud to lead a team that helps youth realize their past does not define them and they can create a brighter future for themselves.
