Rachel Goldman Miller
Lifetime Service
Rachel Miller has gone from experiencing the worst human tragedy of our century and turned it into an opportunity to teach thousands of students and adults the lessons of what one human being can do to another and still survive with love in your heart. Rachel Miller spent much of her childhood in constant fear. Though she survived, her mother, father and three siblings did not, along with 93 other close relatives.
To honor their memory, and the memory of the more than six million innocent people who died in the Nazi concentration camps, Rachel continues to tell her story here at the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and around the country. Rachel is the consummate volunteer for many organizations and is the Founder of Shaving Israel, a 501(c)3 charity.
