Fostering Support

For more than 13 years, Staycee Dixson has opened her home to children impacted by trauma, instability and loss. A licensed foster parent, she has cared for more than 50 youth while raising her own three children. Staycee is known for accepting placements many families are unable to accommodate, including teenagers, youth with complex emotional needs and pregnant teens.

Her approach to foster care centers on stability, healing and the steady presence of trusted adults. Working closely with schools, caseworkers and community partners, she helps young people rebuild confidence and hope and creates safe spaces where youth can heal, grow, and thrive. To strengthen support for foster families, Staycee founded the Rise of the Champions Foundation and launched such initiatives as Illuminating Hope, expanding advocacy and awareness throughout the region.
