Call Newspapers’ Ellie Marshall highlighted 2026 Women of Achievement honoree Aleeza Granote and her volunteer work that grew from a simple act of kindness into something that has touched countless lives throughout our community.

What began with handmade cards for hospital patients eventually became Cards of Hope – a growing effort focused on connection, compassion and making sure people facing illness or isolation know they are not alone.
